Corporate & team experiences

Our Corporate & Team Experiences are designed to give your team the opportunity to get out of the office, get to know each other better, and get your hands dirty,  all while achieving meaningful work and projects that really contribute to our community work and farm life.

All of our experiences also include opportunities for your team to discover more about our farm and work, engage  with the issues surrounding food and sustainability, and learn practical skills for food growing and sustainable living that you can take back to your homes and office.

We offer full-day and half-day experiences to suit your timeframe, generally available to be delivered on Monday, Wednesday or Thursday:

Charges

Running team experiences requires us to put on extra staffing to ensure that we can provide your team with an awesome experience, and make the day useful and productive for Kelmarna as well.

By taking part in our Corporate & Team Experiences, you are directly working to foster a resilient, regenerative food system, and build more connected communities.

Our charges cover all staff time, food, materials, equipment and tools. There is a 30-person group maximum capacity for bookings. Please note that any photo/film capture is at additional charge and must be considered during the booking process.

We use a tiered pricing system to help ensure that our opportunities are as accessible as possible. All prices are GST exclusive.

Preparing for a Visit

To best prepare for an experience with us, please refer to our risk management overview for site visits:

Visitor Safety on the Farm (RAMS)
Please also share these practical considerations with your team in order to help keep everyone safe and comfortable during your visit:

  • Weather appropriate gear - keep the season in mind and dress for spending your session outdoors
  • Refillable water bottle - essential kit for keeping hydrated, with fill stations accessible on the farm
  • Basic sumsmarts - brimmed hats, long sleeves, and sunscreen are essential recommendations
  • Sturdy footwear - suitable for outdoor activities, including navigating uneven and permeable surfaces across the farm
  • Weather outlook - experiences go ahead rain or shine, so rain gear may be encouraged in view of the forecast approaching a date
  • PPE - necessary kit is available, but we recommend bringing your own pair of gloves or other PPE if possible or preferred

Getting here

We are located at 12 Hukanui Crescent, Ponsonby.

Please note that there is no parking on site. This means that any private vehicles or chartered buses must park on-street or drop off at our driveway entrance.

Where possible, we hope that your team can coordinate carpooling and ride-sharing to help get in the team spirit and minimise the number of vehicles require on the day.

We also encourage your team to consider alternative forms of transportation, including walking, biking, and public transport.

We have bicycle parking at the bottom of the driveway
, and AT services run frequently along nearby Richmond Rd and Jervois Rd with access to Kelmarna on foot (<10-minute walk).
